After teasing the arrival of these devices for several days, the smartphone maker has officially confirmed the launch date. The new models are expected to bring fresh features, design updates, and affordable pricing to the market. The official event will take place on February 25 at 4 p.m. local time (1:30 p.m. IST) in China.
Both the Realme Neo 7 SE and Neo 7x are already available for pre-order through Realme’s website and popular e-commerce platforms. While full specifications remain under wraps, these phones are expected to cater to budget-conscious consumers, offering good value for money.
Realme has shared a teaser video that offers a glimpse into the design of the Neo 7 SE. The phone will be available in three color options: Black, Blue Mecha Edition, and Silver. The Blue Mecha Edition is particularly noteworthy, as it’s described as being scratch-resistant, adding extra durability to the smartphone’s design.
The Neo 7 SE will sport a rectangular rear camera module, housing dual rear cameras along with an LED flash. While detailed specifications are yet to be released, it has already been confirmed that the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Max chipset, promising solid performance at an affordable price.
The Realme Neo 7 SE is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring a smooth and vibrant display for users. The camera setup will include a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, offering a versatile photography experience.
For selfie lovers, the Neo 7 SE will likely feature a 16-megapixel front camera. In addition, the phone will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor for easy unlocking. One of the most exciting features is its impressive 7,000mAh battery, which will support up to 80W wired fast charging, allowing users to quickly power up their device and enjoy extended use.
The Realme Neo 7 SE is expected to be priced under CNY 2,000 (approximately Rs. 24,000), making it an attractive option for budget-conscious consumers who don’t want to compromise on performance. Meanwhile, the Neo 7x is likely to be priced even lower, around CNY 1,000 (roughly Rs. 12,000), making it an appealing choice for those looking for an entry-level smartphone.
As Realme continues to tease the Neo 7 SE and Neo 7x, it’s clear that the brand is aiming to capture the attention of users seeking affordable smartphones without sacrificing key features.
