Great news for Android lovers! Google just dropped the second public beta of Android 16. It has been almost three months since we saw the first beta version. Camera Gets a Big Boost

Plus, you can now precisely adjust color temperature and tint. Taking motion photos is now supported too. Even Ultra HDR images in HEIC format are available.

Furthermore, Google isn’t stopping there. They plan to add AVIF support for Ultra HDR in future updates. For those who love custom graphics, there’s a treat too. Android 16 Beta 2 brings in the Android Graphics Shading Language (AGSL). This cool tool allows for unique effects like Sepia and Hue Saturation. You can apply these effects to make your visuals pop.
Security and Accessibility Upgrades
Moreover, security is getting stronger in this update. New, detailed permissions for health and fitness are added. It includes a security feature to block “Intent redirection attacks.” In terms of accessibility, TalkBack is getting smarter. It now better supports items with multiple labels. Also, expandable user interface elements are improved. Streaming apps will now smartly adjust video quality depending on your device.
