Vivo has officially announced its India launch date after months of leaks suggesting that it could be a rebranded version of the Vivo S20, launched in China in November 2024.

The Vivo V50 is all set to launch in India on February 17 at 12pm IST, as confirmed by the company through a post on X. The phone will be available for purchase on Flipkart, Amazon, and Vivo’s official India store. Official teasers reveal that the phone will be available in three color options: Rose Red, Starry Blue, and Titanium Grey.

AI Features and Camera Highlights

The Vivo V50 will feature several AI-driven tools, including Circle to Search, Transcript Assist, and Live Call Translation. Photo imaging and editing tools like Erase 2.0 and Light Portrait 2.0 will also be part of the package.

For the camera setup, the Vivo V50 will offer a dual rear camera system. The primary sensor will be a 50-megapixel shooter with OIS support, while the secondary 50-megapixel ultrawide camera will feature an Aura Light for enhanced lighting. The front camera will also boast a 50-megapixel sensor, ideal for selfies and video calls.

Design, Display, and Performance

The Vivo V50 promises a sleek and slim design, with a quad-curved display and a 7.39mm thickness. It will feature a 6,000mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging, which Vivo claims makes it the slimmest device in its class with such a large battery.
