Get ready, Nothing fans! The Nothing Phone 3a series is launching on March 4th, and it’s bringing some exciting upgrades.
The biggest news? The Phone 3a is ditching its MediaTek processor in favor of a powerful Snapdragon chipset. Nothing CEO Carl Pei confirmed this switch, promising a 25% faster CPU and a whopping 72% faster NPU (neural processing unit). This means smoother performance and a big boost to the phone’s AI capabilities.
While we don’t know the exact Snapdragon model yet, rumors point to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3.
But that’s not all! The Phone 3a is also rumored to have a larger 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It’ll likely run Nothing OS 3.1 based on Android 15 and keep the iconic Glyph interface.
There’s even talk of a new button on the side, possibly for the camera or a customizable action function.
And here’s a cool fact: the Nothing Phone 3a series will be assembled in Chennai, India, with a workforce that’s 95% female!
