Google Pixel 10 Series Models Appear in GSMA Database, Revealing Key Details

Rahul JhaMobile2 months ago64 Views

Although the official release of Google’s Pixel 10 series is still months away, new details have already started to surface, generating significant excitement. According to a recent report, the upcoming Pixel 10 smartphones have made an appearance in the GSMA database, offering a glimpse into the devices’ model numbers. The listing reveals that, similar to the Pixel 9 series, four devices are expected to be part of the new lineup.

Four Models Expected in the Pixel 10 Family

The GSMA listing, spotted by Smartprix, lists the Pixel 10 family with four distinct models: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Each model has been assigned a specific set of model numbers. The regular Pixel 10 appears under the codes “GLBW0” and “GL066,” while the Pixel 10 Pro is listed with “G4QUR” and “GN4F5.” The Pixel 10 Pro XL shows up with the model number “GUL82,” and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is tagged as “GU0NP.”

Interestingly, there is no mention of the Pixel 10a, which had been expected to join the Pixel 10 lineup later. This suggests that Google may have other plans for that model, or it could be unveiled at a later date.

A Peek into the Future: New Chipset and AI Features

The Pixel 10 series is anticipated to be a major upgrade from its predecessors. The new lineup is expected to feature Google’s next-generation Tensor G5 chip, designed to provide improved performance and enhanced AI capabilities. These AI advancements are likely to take the user experience to the next level, enabling smarter features and better overall functionality.

In addition to the new chip, the devices are expected to include a MediaTek T900 modem, further boosting connectivity and performance. The phones are also likely to ship with Android 16, offering the latest software features straight out of the box.

What to Expect from the Pixel 10 Series

One of the standout features of the upcoming Pixel 10 series is its ability to support HDR video recording at 4K/60fps. This should appeal to content creators and videographers, allowing them to capture stunning, high-quality footage on their smartphones.

As for the device codenames, we can expect the Pixel 10 models to be internally referred to as Frankel (Pixel 10), Blazer (Pixel 10 Pro), Mustang (Pixel 10 Pro XL), and Rango (Pixel 10 Pro Fold). These names could hint at the devices’ design or target market, but for now, they remain just internal code names.

Pixel 10: The Next Step in Smartphone Innovation

While the Pixel 10 series is still months away from release, its potential features are already creating a buzz. The inclusion of new chips, improved AI capabilities, and high-quality video recording are just a few of the reasons to get excited about the next-generation Pixel smartphones. Google’s decision to launch multiple variants, including a foldable model, suggests the company is aiming to cater to a wide range of users.

So, what are your thoughts on the Pixel 10 series? Will the new features be enough to convince you to make the switch? Let us know in the comments!
