Sonic fans, get ready to rev your engines! Just after a fresh trailer dropped at PlayStation State of Play this Wednesday, we received a peek at the starting lineup for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. Excitement is definitely building!

    Who Made the Cut?

    Eagle-eyed fans at Sonic Stadium were first to spot the roster. It briefly appeared online, then vanished quickly. However, we know the game will launch with 23 iconic characters. These racers come straight from Sonic’s rich history.

    More Racers Incoming!

    Most characters are visible in the new trailer, as you can see. But hold on, there’s even more good news! The game’s website hinted at “a ton more” drivers joining later. These racers will come from various Sega franchises. Expect surprises beyond the initial 23!

    Tracks, Rides, and Power-Ups!

    Furthermore, the game packs in 24 main tracks for racing thrills. Adding to that, 15 “CrossWorlds” tracks need Travel Rings to unlock. Race in style with 45 unique vehicles to pick from. To gain an edge, use 23 different power-ups during races.

    Coming Soon to Your Platform

    While we still wait for an exact date, the game is coming to many platforms. Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. No one will miss out on the racing action!

    Try it Out Early!

    Before the official release, you can get a sneak peek. A closed network test is planned for February 21st to 23rd. This is your chance to test drive the game early!
