Funko Fusion Studio Adjusts Team: Layoffs Reported

Big changes are happening at 10:10 Games. The studio, known for crafting Funko Fusion, recently restructured its team. Sadly, this also means some people are losing their jobs.

Sources tell Insider Gaming the studio made changes recently. This occurred as certain projects wrapped up. Reportedly, the company restructured things to better suit current projects. However, the details on these projects remain unknown for now.

Around 20 employees are affected by these job cuts, say sources. So far, 10:10 Games hasn’t confirmed the exact number of layoffs. The company has not yet responded to requests for more information on this situation.

Furthermore, sources mentioned the company is offering support to those affected. However, it’s still unclear if this assistance includes severance packages at this time.

10:10 Games was established in 2021. Industry experts Arthur Parsons and Jon Burton, who founded Traveller’s Tales, are behind it. You can find the studio in Warrington, UK. They released their first game, Funko Fusion, in September 2024. Before these layoffs, the studio employed roughly 100 individuals, based on public records.

This year is proving challenging for game industry jobs overall. In the first seven weeks of 2025, almost 1,000 jobs were lost across 27 different companies. The actual number is likely greater. Some companies still need to announce their job reductions publicly. Looking back, 2024 saw the game industry lose over 16,000 jobs.
