88 Games, a Bengaluru-based game developer, has announced its debut game Kapih, an action-packed platformer inspired by Indian folk tales. The game will take players on an exciting journey set against the backdrop of the ancient epic Ramayana, although no official release date has been confirmed yet. Kapih is set to launch on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X.

The Story Behind ‘Kapih’

In Kapih, players will follow the story of Vaanar, a young monkey who embarks on an adventure after his village is destroyed. Along the way, he’ll face fierce enemies and explore various landscapes inspired by Indian folklore.
