Next day, The New York Times published an exposé. It was titled ‘We Can Bury Anyone: Inside a Hollywood Smear Machine.’ This article revealed Lively’s complaint. The internet quickly reacted. Many questioned why Lively hadn’t sued Baldoni already. Ten days later, she indeed filed a lawsuit. Meanwhile, Justin Baldoni fired back. He filed a defamation case against the exposé. The trial is scheduled for next year.
