Because of these sudden jolts, many people panicked. Residents quickly rushed outdoors from their homes. They sought safety as the earth trembled.

Turns out, the earthquake measured 4.0 on the Richter Scale. This is according to early reports. It struck at precisely 5:36:55 AM IST. The powerful tremors startled many people from sleep.

Furthermore, the quake’s impact was widespread. People felt it across Delhi and nearby states. Thankfully, no damage or injuries have been reported yet from the shaking.
